André van Boxtel

AVB Racing Pigeons has a mission and that is the extreme long distance with a preference for the international races. In 1977 I was infected with the pigeon bacillus by my, unfortunately deceased, brother Brord van Boxtel. Until the year 2000 we played together under the name Gebr. van Boxtel from Goirle. We have achieved many successes together, especially in the extreme long distance and have a lot of fun with the pigeon hobby. From 2000 I started playing independently from Alphen NB and also with the focus on the long distance races. I also achieved great results on my own and the championships were numerous. In recent years I have not played very actively with the pigeons but from 2019 it is full speed ahead again with the focus on the International races.
